there's a lot of things I don't understand.

How people can stand to wear short socks. Why the colour green is so fascinating to me. The precise meanings of the words "I'm sorry" and "I love you". People who like dogs better than cats, although I suppose that one's okay.¹ How people can possibly remember the names of all the different clouds, and why we need to label them all anyway.

Why do I never have any rubberbands or hairties, even though I am one of those people with the insurmountable instinct to pick them up and bring them home every time I see one?

Why does some music feel so real, while a song thats almost exactly the same can feel empty and hollow. Why does our music taste change so much over time? Is it one of those things thats innate to us as people, or are we unwittingly just following a complicated internal social construct?

Why am I burning alive right now, when it's so damn cold outside?

Do you think mushrooms know they're a superorganism? Do they look at us poor individual creatures with the same pity that we view monocell organisms like bacteria?

Do you think electrons know where and when they are, or are they bound by the same limitations of perception that we are? When you think about it, do you really know when and where you are, right now?

Which one is scarier; spending your whole life believing solipsism is definitely real, and finding out it's definitely not? Or the opposite? Why?

If you swapped bodies with your best friend, would you still be able to love them?

I think the sky is blue, because grass would look a lot weirder if it was yellow. But that's just me.
